Alltrucks and BHFM bring hydrogen and high-voltage expertise to workshop practice

Munich/Willich 07.08.2025: The number of alternatively powered commercial vehicles is growing rapidly - and with it the need for qualified workshop personnel. Alltrucks, Europe's leading multi-brand workshop concept, has teamed up with BHFM Technologies GmbH to optimally prepare its partner companies for this development.

The aim of the cooperation is to offer practical training in the field of high-voltage and hydrogen systems throughout Europe - directly on commercial vehicles and with a real workshop focus. This collaboration is made possible by Alltrucks partner company Boeckels from Willich, which has been working closely with BHFM Technologies since 2023. The family business has over 65 years of experience in maintenance, repair and vehicle construction - and has actively helped shape the transition to alternative drive systems. "It was a logical step for us to expand our expertise to include battery and hydrogen systems," explains Christoph Boeckels, Managing Director of the company. "We are particularly pleased that we are now passing on this knowledge together with BHFM." The training courses focus on practical relevance: instead of dry theory or on-screen presentations, participants learn directly on real high-voltage and hydrogen vehicles - including original components such as batteries from commercial vehicles and buses.

"Thanks to Boeckels' infrastructure and experience, we can offer training courses that reflect real everyday workshop life and not just teach the basics," says Daniel Herzig, Managing Director of BHFM. The company not only has many years of training expertise, but is itself an aftersales specialist for battery and hydrogen systems. BHFM regularly carries out repairs for well-known manufacturers in its repair centre. This knowledge flows directly into the training courses - for maximum relevance and quality. The theoretical content is deliberately reduced to the essentials. The aim is to train mechanics so that they can safely master the new technologies - with technical depth and practical expertise.

In addition to the Willich site, two further training centres will be established in Bremen and Munich. A mobile training team will also serve the European market.

Peter Ortmann, Sales Manager at Alltrucks, is also enthusiastic: "With BHFM, we have a partner who doesn't just talk the talk, but walks the walk - and offers our partner companies exactly what they really need: practice, practice, practice."
